Practices registered or accredited with GPA also have the opportunity to consolidate their learning from the sessions by completing an optional quiz after each Standards Educationals webinar.
This webinar series consists of presentations covering all criteria within the RACGP Standards for general practices, 4th Edition. These webinars are designed to assist practices in understanding the requirements of the Standards, and how to meet them. We will soon be scheduling further sessions in this series.

Is there a cost, or do I have to be accredited with GPA, to attend your webinars?
All GPA webinars are free to all participants, regardless of accreditation provider or organisation.
How do I log in for the live session?
Once you register to attend a webinar, a unique log in link will be sent to your email address. Please click on this link when it is time to attend the webinar, and you will be taken directly to the session. Ensure you register with an email address you can access on the day of the webinar, as you will need the unique link contained in the email to log in. If you are asked for a password, you may have attempted to log in too early. Please log out and try again closer to the start time.
Please remember that all start times refer to NSW time, and you may need to make adjustments to log in at the correct time from your location.
Can we have more than one person attend using a single log in?
Yes: by using your computer speakers, or dialling in via the telephone and placing it on loudspeaker, you can have multiple people attend the webinar from the same location.
Our computer does not have speakers: can we still participate in the webinar?
Yes: you can dial in using the telephone by selecting this option once you have joined the session, then dialling in using the numbers provided in your reminder email.
How do I ask a question about the topic?
Participants now have two opportunities to ask questions about the webinar topic. When you enter your information to register for the session, there is the opportunity to submit any questions you might have regarding the topic, which we will then endeavour to answer during the presentation. Alternatively, you can ask questions during the live session by typing your question into the webinar control panel you will see on your screen. The presenter will then address these during question time.
I am trying to register more than one person using the same email address, but I keep getting the same registration information. Why is this?
The webinar system allocates one name per email address registered, so once you have registered using an email address, you cannot change the name of the registrant. If you have multiple people attending from one location, please only register once. If you have multiple people attending from various locations, you will need to register each log in location with a different email address.
I have registered using the wrong email address: what should I do?
If you have registered using the wrong email address, please register again using the correct address.
I have registered and cannot attend: what should I do?
If you cannot attend a session for which you have registered, you do not need to do anything. You can, however, watch a video of the webinar after the live presentation has taken place, by going to our GPA YouTube channel.
Can I obtain a copy of the presentation slides?
Yes: the presentation slides for each webinar are available prior to the live session using the links in the Register section on this page. A link to the slides will also be provided in your reminder email. The slides can be downloaded and printed to assist participants in taking notes during the webinar.
How do I obtain a certificate of participation?
Certificates of participation are issued to attendees of live sessions only, and to receive a certificate you must complete the evaluation survey for the session you attended by close of business on the same day as the live webinar. The links to the evaluation surveys are available in the Register section of this page. Each link remains on our website until close of business on the day of the live webinar. Certificates can only be issued to participants who successfully complete an evaluation survey, and certificates are emailed to participants on the business day following the live webinar.
How do I know if I submitted the survey successfully?
Can I watch the webinar again?
Yes: GPA maintains a library of recordings of all previously hosted webinars. This can be found on our GPA YouTube channel, and all recordings are available for review at your convenience. Many of our webinars are run more than once each year, so please refer to the schedule if you wish to attend another live session.
Can I receive a certificate of participation for watching a recording of the webinar?
Unfortunately, we can only issue certificates to those attending live sessions.
