GPA Tip Detail
Change of Contact Details
If your Practice re-locates to a new address, even next door, you should contact both GPA and the Medicare with your new details.
So that your Practice PIP payments continue at your new address, GPA will organise a Re-Location survey visit and a new certificate to be issued for you to forward to Medicare and ensure your PIP instalments are not affected in any way.
When your Practice moves premises but keeps the same systems, policies, procedures and medical records, GPA will arrange a two hour visit to be conducted with one surveyor only, simply to assess the physical aspects of your new premises.
Ideally this should be completed within three months of your move date to ensure it does not have an adverse affect on your PIP payments. This time frame is dependent on the advice to your Practice from Medicare.
