Recording Schedule 8 Drug Transactions
Practices are reminded to record all Schedule 8 transactions according to their State legislation requirements. All states, except for Tasmania, stipulate that the Drug Register must record the name and address of the person being administered the drug or the supplier of the drug, such as a Chemist. Tasmanian legislation requires the name of the person being administered the drug to be recorded only.
